Hair Length Chart: Check Out the Every Single Hair Cut Length

The swooped side bang is a great way to shake up an armpit length style a bit and break up the length. By creating a deep side part and dramatic swooping shape for the long bangs, you direct the eye upward and across. Blunt bangs can be a great feature to add to a long, collarbone-grazing lob.

Very short = Above the ear or shorter

Vitamin B7 – or Biotin – helps stimulate keratine production, and there is some evidence to suggest that it helps support healthy hair growth and fortifies the hair follicles. If you do side-swept bangs on either long hair or short hair, you’re going to draw the eye right to them. Generally, we’ve all come to some universal understanding that there is short hair, medium hair, and long hair. Endless other questions will follow because what constitutes short hair to me, may mean something else for you. While waist or tailbone-length hair is difficult to grow, it is still doable.

What Hair Extensions Length Should I Get?

Instead, seek out those that have been dermatologist-tested, says Dr. Shaver. But finding the right formula isn't a matter of simply choosing a product off the shelf and hoping that it works. While long hair may not be for everyone, it can definitely suit a wide variety of men, especially those with confidence and a great sense of personal style. If you want to have just a little bit long hair, you should buy the hair with this length. The armpit length of hair is a term we use to call medium long hair. When you have the length of hair that fall at mid-back that is now called very long hair.

The 11 Best Hair Growth Serums for Long, Strong Hair

With this length, you can experiment with hairstyles such as ponytails, braids, or loose curls to transform your appearance into a captivating one. 32 inch hair appears to be the longest hair extension in our hair length chart currently available that can reach your thigh. The 80-centimeter length of hair will astonish you with its Rapunzel-like appearance.

Also, while exploring and planning new hairstyles for you, in-depth knowledge of the Hair Length Chart will enable you to make the right call for yourself. You’ve realized that cutting your hair too short can restrict your hairstyling potential by a lot and it would require tons of time to recover. Hair’s length doesn’t come down to exact numbers, but the short, medium, and long classifications we have been using are not working. By measuring hair based on body proportions, we get a more accurate picture of where hair will fall, making for better communication between hair professionals and clients. This tip seems counterintuitive, so much so that I would ignore this advice for myself.

Hair Length Chart – Hair Length Guide For Woman

This is an often asked question – does your hair just keep growing if you don’t trim it? Your hair all grows to a specific length that it simply can’t surpass. This is largely influenced by genetics, so looking at how long your mother or grandmother could grow their hair will give you hints here.

The hair also brings out the feeling of femininity so people usually describe long hair women as girly, mild, gentle, etc. With long hair extensions, you can look graceful, sexy, and fancy whenever you want, even if you wear just jeans and a T-shirt. A soft tape measure (also called measuring tape) is the most accurate way to measure your hair length. The best way to track your progress with a tape measure is to write down your measurements and compare them with future ones. Another great way to track your hair growth progress is to get a length check shirt.

Armpit length hair is where the hair length chart officially moves into the “long” length territory. It refers to hair that’s cut short and (usually) evenly across the head, typically with clippers. Buzz cut length is somewhere between 1/2” and 1” long, sometimes with longer sections left to make a wider range of styles possible. Additionally, men with curly or wavy hair can also benefit from medium-length cuts as they allow for more natural movement and texture. For men with naturally curly or coily hair, a short textured haircut is a great option. This style features layers and texture on top to enhance the natural curl pattern while keeping the sides and back short.

The hair length for a tailbone length cut typically measures 30 inches (75 cm) or more. “For sensitive or acne-prone skin, either frequent pillowcase changes or wearing a hair bonnet after serum application may be helpful,” she says. You can also find hair growth serums that contain active ingredients that have been FDA-approved to promote hair growth, like minoxidil. That’s because factors like genetics, your nutrition, stress and anxiety, and changes in your hormones, metabolism, or medications can all contribute to thinning hair. And the cause of your hair loss can help you determine the right ingredients for you—and, with that, the best hair growth serum. Therefore, “the best guidance is to ask questions and rely on trusted sources for scientific evidence and advice that is tailored to your individual need,” she instructs.

Now that you know more about hair texture and how it plays a role in how long your hair appears, you can consider your next chop more thoughtfully. Rather than asking for a number of inches taken off, it might be more helpful to show the hairstylist where you’d like your length to end. If you have straight hair your hair will appear its actual length. This is because there are no curls in your mane, resulting in strands that hang straight.

Length is just as important as color or texture, but it’s not something we pay enough mind to understand. It might be useful to know that on average, hair grows 6 inches a year, so you can plan your long-time hair goals if you have any. Consider that it’s recommended to cut off half an inch every 2-3 months to prevent split ends. – Medium hair has the length that goes from the shoulder to the armpit, which is about inches for straight strands and up to 24 inches for curly ones. Hair length is detailed, and it takes more than just the terms short, medium, and long to best describe it.

Different Types of Curling Wands and Their Uses

I’m going to lay out a chart with an intuitive guide to put a stop to miscommunications, so you always get the length you want. Now that you know how to correctly measure your hair’s length, let’s jump into some things that you should avoid when you measure your hair length. Comparison shots are all over the internet, and they are some of the most interesting photos shared on the web.

Hair Length Chart: Check Out the Every Single Hair Cut Length

The length of our hair plays a significant role in defining our overall appearance and style. Whether you’re considering a new haircut, hair extensions, or simply curious about the length of your locks, understanding how to measure hair length accurately is essential. Here, you can check the exact hair inch chart and know your hair length.

Hair Inch Chart and How to Measure Hair Length?

But if you’re familiar with your face shape, there are a few loose rules to follow based on your facial features. It may be strange, but I always measured my hair based on Disney characters. I always wanted Ariel’s hair (how did it not get tangled underwater?), but I once cut my hair to Snow White’s length, and now it sits at Belle’s length. Sadly, we’re not Disney princesses, but whether you sport the Tinkerbell look or dream of long lengths like Rapunzel, we tend not to know how to describe our hair length.

Casual, laid-back waves are another great way to style mid-back length hair. This is a gently U-shaped cut with slightly shorter length on the sides. From the front, you’ll see soft, face-framing layers that help sculpt the jawline and break up the length in a more flattering shape. Curls add so much interest with their curving, light-reflecting texture. If you’re feeling bored with mid-back length strands, curl it up (though you may lose a few inches of hanging length) to shake things up!

What is the most popular hair extension length?

Each of these lengths has unique qualities, and the best one for any individual depends on their lifestyle, hair type, and personal style preferences. It’s important to note that while this is the average growth rate, not everyone’s hair will grow this quickly. Some people’s hair may grow more slowly, while others may experience faster growth.

How to Use a Hair Length Chart?

One-length buzz cuts, shaved styles, short pixie cuts, short mohawks, and short crops are all included under the buzz cut length category. Women often refer to a hair length chart when buying hair extensions or a wig. Looking at the chart will help you know what length you need to buy to reach your length goals or add fullness to the mane without affecting the length. A sharp skin fade and shaping on the sides is usually the go-to choice for a clean look. If you have the hair that fall at the collarbone, that is still considered as long hair.

Well, you can let your hair grow past your ankles down to the length of the floor and call yourself the next Rapunzel. Another easy measuring technique is to do it with a permanent scale, often known as Height Rod. These scales are usually stuck to the walls and are used for measuring heights. Straight and Wavy hair are quite similar in length, although Wavy hair can reduce up to 5% of its length while measuring in this method due to its nature.

Kenneth’s commitment to transparency, quality, and empowerment has positioned him as a trusted voice in the field, empowering readers to confidently embrace their natural beauty. These measurements only apply to straightened curly hair and are general estimates. Whatever your hair type, you can apply this hair length chart to get a perfect outcome. Interestingly, your height dramatically impacts how the hair looks on you and should be a significant consideration when choosing the hair length. Growing your hair out or just curious what length you’re considered? Check out our hair length chart with examples and descriptions to make it easy to label your length goals.

You can use the chart to pinpoint where your current length is and how long you want it to be, but the rest is up to you. Tailbone length hair reaches beyond the mid-back and waist level all the way down to the tailbone zone. Tailbone length hair is not quite long enough to sit on – it just reaches the tailbone. Layers that graduate in length from short to long toward the bottom of the style are very flattering on armpit length cuts. They remove a little weight to keep the ends pliable with plenty of movement and swing.

Nioxin utilizes some advanced technologies to provide real solutions for making the most of the hair you have, says Keith R. Durante, M.D., a microvascular hair surgeon and founder of myhair.health. “It’s primarily used to remove dirt and debris that can clog follicles and also excess sebum, which is an indicator of dihydroxy testosterone (DHT). DHT has been identified as one of the main culprits for genetic type hair loss, especially in men or women with hormonal imbalances,” he explains. Aside from prescription formulas, Hodgdon is partial to clean, plant-based actives, which are at the heart of Vegamour’s lineup. “I recommend using products that ensure these actives are bio-available (readily absorbed by the body) and included at effective levels,” he says. Of these, he specifically highlights turmeric, topical caffeine, red clover, mung bean extract, and CBD.

“Hormones, diet, stress, genetics, aging and [damaging] hairstyles are many of the reasons,” says Dr. Burg. “The causes of hair loss are varied and complex and can be a combination of lifestyle and genetic factors. Common to all of these is a resulting dysfunction in the hair cycle and shortening of the anagen phase [the first phase of the hair growth cycle],” he notes.

You may also need to use it for 6 months or more to prevent further loss and promote regrowth. Start your day with a hearty breakfast and have an extra slice or two of whole-grain toast with peanut butter, which is calorie-dense and high in fat and protein. Almond butter and other types of nut and seed butters are also healthy choices for gaining weight since they're protein-packed and have plenty of healthy fats. "Shampoos can help with hair growth by strengthening the hair shaft, reducing breakage, and cleaning the scalp," Holden tells Byrdie. She says maintaining a healthy scalp is crucial and recommends formulas infused with protein, such as keratin and rice protein, and conditioning ingredients like glycerin and coconut oil to prevent breakage. According to experts, if you don't get enough nutrition through diet alone (sometimes the case with vegans and vegetarians), an oral supplement may help stimulate hair growth. This formula is a dermatologist and patient favorite, says Jenny Sobera, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Village Dermatology in Birmingham, Alabama. Topical minoxidil—or Rogaine—is effective for both male and female hair loss, as well as hair loss due to chemotherapy, says Rina M. Allawh, MD, a board-certified dermatologist in Pennsylvania.

Another helpful ingredient is the vegan keratin alternative, which leaves hair both stronger and shinier. Medications that help balance hormone levels are where it’s at for these conditions. In the case of PCOS, this might involve birth control pills to regulate your menstrual cycle and lessen the impact androgens can have on your hair follicles. “Anti-androgen medications, such as spironolactone, may also be prescribed to counteract the effects of excess androgens,” Dr. Mitchell says.

“It’s really very emotional for people,” says Joyce Davis, MD, a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon in New York City. Oftentimes hair-loss patients come into her office and start crying from the toll of it all, she says. As of April 2024, the company’s overall 3.89 average rating out of 5 stars has to do with sexual dysfunction products, as well as complaints of being charged for products after notifying the company of the desire to cancel. If you suspect you could have a nutrient deficiency, ask your care team about testing to check your vitamin levels.

According to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD), this condition is common in women, especially after menopause. A big bowl of creamed soup and crusty warm bread can make an excellent energy-dense meal on a weight-gaining diet. Do this by choosing cream of broccoli, cream of mushroom, or similar types of cream-based soup. If you're underweight, you'll typically want to consume an additional 500 calories per day. To do this, you might eat extra meals or increase the size of the meals you usually eat.

With peptides and plant extracts, The Ordinary claims to give hair a fuller look by supporting the scalp. "I have an odd hairline with almost bald spots on my temples and only a month of using this a few times a week has made my hair grow so much," one reviewer says. Reviewers note that this oil can make hair greasy, so only use it on camera-off days. While the GH Beauty Lab hasn't formally tested hair growth oils, these picks are based on Beauty Lab scientists' categorical expertise and testing, hair expert and dermatologist recommendations, and vetted consumer reviews. If you’re looking for a hair growth boost, these products may just do the trick. While many can help improve hair health, they rarely get to the root of the problem.

For the first time at IHOPU, students from all three schools—Forerunner School of Ministry, Forerunner Music Academy, and Forerunner Media Institute—were united on the same campus that year. The facility has also hosted various IHOPKC meetings, departments, and activities. The prayer room was moved from the trailer on Grandview Road into the remodeled Red Bridge Center, bringing a much-needed addition of space and amenities. The new prayer room was dedicated on March 7, 2003, and continues today as the Global Prayer Room (GPR). In the last few years - God has started tearing down the structures of old and is raising up a new expression to this generation.

Find yourself in the hands of a Father who loves you and who is dedicated to liberating, transforming, and establishing you in His purpose. The end-time church will shake the earth in preparation for the return of Jesus. We have an invitation to fill the earth with the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. This is your hour to take your place, engage in your calling, and shape history through prayer and fasting. You can now study in English, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Korean, with more languages on the way.

IHOPKC worship leaders, singers, and musicians from the prayer room, including Jon Thurlow, Misty Edwards, Jaye Thomas, and Laura Hackett Park, have been featured on around 150 albums from Forerunner Music. IHOPU obtained permission to accept international students, and the first students from outside the US arrived for the fall semester of 2010. Today, students come from countries as diverse as China, Tajikistan, Egypt, England, Korea, Canada, and Brazil to encounter Jesus in His Word and in prayer with worship. Lenny and Tracy La Guardia led the first Children’s Equipping Center camp just outside Kansas City. They’ve since grown to hosting multiple camps each summer and have seen camps established across the US and internationally in places like Poland. A few of the children who attended that first camp in 2002 are part of our staff today as worship leaders, singers, and musicians.

Over the next two years, we gradually moved our center of operations from the trailers in Grandview to the new location at Red Bridge Center equipped with much-needed office space and meeting rooms. We also expanded our facilities during that time by providing a kitchen for the internships and starting work on a coffee shop. The Isaiah 19 Initiative is committed to building up a culture of prayer within the Body of Christ for the highway of worship, unprecedented unity, and the completion of the Great Commission in Egypt, Assyria, and Israel.

Forerunner School of Prayer, which would later become International House of Prayer University, was founded in 1999, equipping people to intercede and lead a lifestyle of prayer. I’ve loved this app for the years I’ve had it, and it has really pushed me deeper in the Lord in seasons of my life. But 3 stars remain because the app hasn’t been updated in over a year. A few things are broken now; you can’t search sermons by teacher anymore (if you try to it crashes), and managing my downloads doesn’t work (will also crash). The sermons are amazing, I love the worship, and the all nations prayer room is a blessing too. After receiving specific direction from the Lord, Mike called churches in Kansas City to a 21-day solemn assembly of prayer and fasting.

Children’s Equipping Center

As different ethnic groups continued to grow in our community, more languages were added to prayer meetings. On June 10, 2013, we dedicated the All Nations Prayer Room to the Lord where prayer with worship was led 85 hours per week in nine languages—Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Portuguese, French, and German. At our tenth anniversary, on September 19, 2009, our staff members renewed their commitment to serve the Lord in 24/7 prayer with worship and made an additional commitment to serve the Lord and people with 24/7 works of justice. These labors involve mercy ministry (e.g., food, shelter), justice issues (e.g., sanctity of life), missions, and evangelism. We expanded our setup to seven cameras and our schedule to full-time streaming. The webstream is available online and through apps for tablets and smartphones.

Everything we offer is yours to access and enjoy wherever you live. Engage with our leaders in Kansas City from anywhere on earth, at any time. During our 19th anniversary, about 1,000 Chinese church leaders from across the globe joined us in Kansas City. This four-day gathering called Convergence was greatly used by the Lord to shift our IHOPKC community into a reset with a renewed commitment to prioritize growing as a family. Our newly renovated university campus opened its doors to returning and incoming students, offering much-needed additional space from its previous building.

During that time, the Lord gave a prophetic word to do “24/7 prayer in the spirit of the tabernacle of David.” This birthed 16 years of prayer meetings held three times per day at the church Mike was pastoring. He now says the word was the continuation of what he had first heard in the hotel in Cairo eight months earlier, that the two words are linked. We celebrated twenty years of 24/7 prayer with worship, grateful to the Lord for His grace and leadership. We are thankful for all those who have served on staff—from the first worship song in the old trailers on September 19, 1999 to today.

Our desire is that every tribe, tongue, and nation be fully immersed in the beauty of Jesus and the details of His glorious return in their “heart language”—their mother tongue. The developer, International House of Prayer, indicated that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of data as described below. We held the last (for the foreseeable future) Onething conference—an annual tradition since 2002 which has attracted tens of thousands of believers to Kansas City.

Four months later, on September 19, these “intercessory missionaries” extended their schedule to 24/7. A movement of unceasing worship with prayer had begun, which, in the grace of God, shall continue till Jesus returns. On May 7, 1999, the International House of Prayer began in the “old trailers” on Grandview Road, with 13 hours of prayer and worship each day. Mike Bickle and a small group of intercessors and worship leaders staffed the prayer room. Our hearts overflow with thanks to the Lord for His grace and faithfulness to us over the years. A few years after the prayer room opened in 1999, prayer meetings began in Spanish, Korean, and Chinese.

The first internship began with five young adults, including Misty Edwards, Alisha Powell, and Aaron Walsh. Since then we have expanded to five different internships and have had the privilege to be part of equipping thousands of interns who have gone on to staff prayer rooms across the US and abroad (as well as our own prayer room). When the two first met, Bob Jones told Mike Bickle that the Lord would use him to pastor a young adult movement of singers and musicians who would pray for Israel and have strong ties to Asia. Mike initially didn’t believe Bob, but two weeks later it was confirmed to him that Bob, in fact, had heard from the Lord. Bob, who passed away in 2014, played a pivotal role in encouraging Mike during the early years of the movement and was a great friend to IHOPKC. Our Global Classroom offers an unparalleled experience and dynamic training with no boundaries.

On March 21, 2002, we acquired Hernnhut Apartments next door to the prayer room on Red Bridge Road. This tremendous resource has housed many staff members, interns, and visitors from around the world and continues to serve as a great asset to our ministry. We joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in a commitment to help raise up one million intercessors for global missions, furthering the partnership between IHOPKC and YWAM and the joining of missions and prayer. Mike Bickle’s online teaching library launched in 2009, offering its resources to anyone for free. Equipped with audio and video teachings, study notes, and other resources, the library spans over 30 years of Mike’s ministry.

The last Onething built on themes of the reset, with a more spontaneous and family feel that included times of corporate confession, intercession, and repentance. In Assisi, Italy, Mike heard the Lord say that He would raise up “friends of the Bridegroom forerunner messengers” to prepare the Bride for Christ’s return. John the Baptist called himself a “friend of the Bridegroom” because he prepared the way for Jesus’ first coming. We are believing the Lord to raise up many such messengers in advance of Jesus’ second coming. The foundation of engineering design is exploration and iteration. Design is rarely a perfectly linear and straightforward process. In this course, we'll explore mechanical assembly design and simulation, focusing on testing and improving design components and performance. As we move through design assumptions, testing, and refining design ideas, we'll come closer to a final design, while developing a deeper knowledge in Autodesk® Fusion 360™ for simulating and analyzing product functionality. Through this specialization, you will learn the foundations of product innovation and digital manufacturing while developing your technical skills within Autodesk® Fusion 360™.

Learners will understand how to draw a sphere using [Circle] and [Follow Me], how to use [Rotate] and [Copy] to draw the surface of the sphere and how to use selection tricks to delete all the unnecessary planes. The module also includes the methods of using [Paint bucket] to finish the beach ball. The second example, toy house is designed for learners to be familiar with [Move] and [Arcs]. Learners will understand how to add objects not perpendicular to the reference surface.

Now, merge the best elements from these individual sketches into a unified future-state flow. You can then share this consolidated journey with the whole workshop team. It will help you paint a picture of what the improved customer experience could look like. Everyone should understand journey mapping principles, existing research and input methods. Use engaging activities like trivia to refresh key concepts and energize the group. Focus on specific customer personas and how they interact with your service.

After the Journey -Mapping Workshop

If you understand these issues, you can make your websites or services better. This means happier customers who are more likely to return and recommend the product/service to others. Our graduates are employed across the design industry, from high profile organisations such as Apple, Tesla and Lego, through to London-based design consultancies, government organisations, and start ups. Alternatively students can set up their own businesses in a creative field. The first year is graded as pass/fail (with extensive feedback), providing a supportive learning environment that supports exploration, experimentation, taking risks and making mistakes as a core component of design practice.

Unlike journey maps, which focus on the customer's experience, service blueprints give us a peek into how the service works behind the scenes. They show how different parts of the service work together to support the customer's journey. Journey mapping equips us with the insights needed to refine the user experience and create first encounters with your product, both positive and memorable. Since 94% of first impressions relate to a website's design, it’s critical to make an excellent first impression through a well-mapped user journey. A solid understanding of journey mapping principles can transform a confusing or mediocre user experience into one that’s engaging and seamless.

Engineers need to factor in broader concerns such as cost, procurement, sustainability, manufacturability, and serviceability. Their role has moved away from an individual responsibility to working as part of a collaborative engineering team, executing tradeoffs with both engineering and business stakeholders to meet project goals. These trends have forced today’s engineers to broaden their skillset to be successful. AutoCAD is a powerful and fully-featured software, so it is technical and sophisticated enough for professional use. Professionals use AutoCAD to create detailed 2D and 3D designs, such as floor plans, layouts, and urban designs.

Cruise from Port Canaveral Orlando with Carnival

the carnival cruise ship

The Carnival Glory is the second ship built in the hugely popular Conquest-class. She was constructed by Fincantieri in Italy and cost $500 million. You might be wondering why Carnival Splendor is the only ship of its class in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. The ship was originally ordered by sister line Costa Cruises as a Concordia-class vessel. The ship was transferred to operate for Carnival during her construction in 2008 in Genoa, Italy. The Carnival ship became the first in the new Sunshine class after completing a major bow-to-stern transformation in November 2013.

Where does Carnival Celebration sail from?

On one occasion, the app said Seafood Shack opened half an hour earlier than it did, while the paper version of the daily schedule had the correct information. Another time, the printed daily had the wrong theater show listed for that night; the correct one was posted in the HUB. On another day, the printed schedule was missing part four of a four-part show, which did show up on the agenda in the app. Also in the space is Emeril's Bistro 717, a New Orleans-style, for-fee eatery developed by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. In 2001, Carnival transferred their first new build, the 1982 built Tropicale to Costa Cruises.

Family Harbor Ocean View (Obstructed View)

The patience passengers will need aboard Carnival Celebration extends to the passenger elevators, which never seem to arrive in a timely manner, and are nearly always packed to the brim with people. Carnival Jubilee does not have a specific daytime dress code, and people dress casually. If it's a sea day in a warm-weather destination, and you're bound for the top deck, T-shirts, shorts and bathing suits (with a cover-up to go inside) are just fine. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is allowed but only in designated outdoor areas on Deck 8 mid-ship on the starboard side.

The 8 classes of Carnival Cruise Line ships, explained

Tracy Wilson Mourning, founder of the Honey Shine Mentoring Program became the ship’s godmother after construction was completed by Fincantieri in Italy. The vessel is 133,500 gross tons and has a passenger capacity of 3,960 at double occupancy, slightly less than sister ship Carnival Panorama. The Carnival cruise ship underwent a huge $200 million transformation and is now part of the Sunshine-class, which also includes Carnival Radiance and Carnival Sunshine. The vessel was previously known as Carnival Triumph, which originally entered service in 1999. Mardi Gras has taken Carnival Cruise Line into a new era of cruising as a new Excel-class cruise ship and fully powered by Liquified Natural Gas (LNG).

Carnival Cruises Tips, Activities, and Overview

The Spirit-class vessel began sailing following a dry dock to receive her new Carnival colors in September 2022. The new addition to the fleet departed on her first guest sailing in November 2022 from Brisbane in, Australia. A slightly more expensive "value" plan, at $17 per day, adds access to email and most websites. If you pay for a plan prior to sailing, you'll receive a discount. Over the last couple of years, Carnival has rolled out faster Wi-Fi systems across its fleet, so you can now stream video on some ships.

The whole family will also enjoy exclusive access to the nearby Family Harbor Lounge, plus more great perks around the ship. On Carnival Horizon, Deluxe Ocean View staterooms are a great choice for families who want to let the sun shine in as they sail. Rooms of this type feature great views, a full bathroom — plus a separate washroom — and while stateroom configurations vary, certain Deluxe Ocean View rooms have space to sleep up to five cruisers. For an extended cruise from Tampa, Florida, or Baltimore, Maryland, look to Carnival Pride.

Our ships sail to stunning destinations — see just where on the map we go. With 27 ships and hundreds of itineraries, there’s a Carnival cruise for everyone. Until then, Carnival Celebration will continue to struggle to provide the kind of personable, upbeat and cheery service present on the rest of the line’s fleet. Most staff we encountered were seemingly overworked, unduly burdened and unhappy, with Carnival Celebration’s food service staff appearing unusually affected. These formerly complimentary venues – a combination of Mexican and Asian and the Italian-themed Cucina – are now free for the first visit, and $8 per person for all repeat reservations. Don’t expect terribly cerebral diversions; Carnival is all about FUN, and it does a commendable job of shouting it from the rooftops.

When Carnival Ecstasy departed the fleet in October 2022, Carnival Elation became the oldest ship in the fleet. She is 71,909 gross tons and has a passenger capacity of 2,190 at double occupancy. The Carnival Conquest was a huge milestone for Carnival Cruise Line as she was the first in the popular Conquest-class, which consists of five vessels. She took the cruise line into a new era of ship design and passenger capacity. Following her inaugural season out of Brisbane (the first under Carnival Cruise Line), the ship is operating Itineraries out of Seattle to Alaska.

Older kids (aged 15-17) are grouped into what's known as Club O2 and have their own lounge for meeting up, listening to music, dancing, singing karaoke and other activities. While the free programming ends at 10 p.m., you can pay extra to leave your kids at Camp Ocean until 1 a.m. During those hours, Camp Ocean transforms into a supervised slumber party-type environment with games, movies, crafts and snacks, along with late-night parties called Night Owls. So perhaps it makes sense that it has one of the most extensive children's programs at sea.

A Carnival passenger taking seven-night cruises will hit the Platinum level during their 11th sailing. Sail a few longer voyages, like a transatlantic sailing, and you could reach it even sooner. The second-to-highest tier, Platinum (75 points), brings such perks as priority check-in and boarding, priority debarkation, priority dinner reservations, priority spa reservations and priority water shuttle boarding.

Keeping with the times, Carnival Magic features the delicious good times of Guy's Burger Joint™, BlueIguana Cantina™, Alchemy Bar® and RedFrog Rum Bar®. Playlist Productions™ takes songs you know and presents them like you’ve never known them before. Past favorites become full-blown musical productions featuring multi-talented performers absolutely bringing down the house with song, dance... With tunes from fan-favorite divas, crooners or rockers, each show has a different theme — and of course, a completely different playlist!

Unique to Carnival Jubilee are two new bars in the Deck 6 Currents zone. I wasn't overly hungry when I sat down, but the $49 cover charge ($15 for kids) would also have included a soup or salad and a dessert if I had wanted them. During my visit, I ordered a pound of stone crab claws in garlic butter (market price) with red beans and rice ($3) and a brie bowl ($6). My only complaint is that, apart from a claw cracker, there were no other tools available to get to the crab meat.

On "elegant" nights, you'll see a range of clothing from ball gowns, dresses that leave little to the imagination, tuxes and suits to the same shorts and tees people sport all day long. Most men, however, opt for long pants and collared shirts, while women don sundresses, or a skirt or pants with a blouse. Most nights are designated "cruise casual," which means just that — khakis or jeans, polo shirts, sundresses and the like.

Mardi Gras

Super casual clothing like cutoff jeans, men's sleeveless shirts, T-shirts and gym shorts aren't permitted. As mentioned previously, Carnival Sunshine cabins have both standard North American-style 110-volt outlets and European-style 220-volt outlets. You can also opt for extra-charge valet laundry and dry-cleaning service, which your cabin steward will handle for you. Expect to pay per piece, with prices running from $2 (for an undergarment or pair of socks) to $15 (for a two-piece suit).

Dining on Carnival Celebration Explores a World of Culinary Options

The Fantasy-class cruise ship cost $300 million to construct in Helsinki, Finland and began guest operations in December 1998. The Carnival cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 130,000, a guest capacity of 3,690 at double occupancy, and a crew capacity of 1,367. Carnival Breeze is 130,000 gross tons, which is just slightly smaller than the newer Vista-class vessels. The ship also has a guest capacity of 3,690 at double occupancy, along with 1,386 crew members. Carnival Sunrise is a completely new cruise ship and departed on her inaugural voyage in April 2019. The vessel is 101,509 gross tons with a guest capacity of 2,984 at double occupancy and 1,108 crew members.

More about Carnival Celebration

The Carnival Paradise became just one of the two last Fantasy-class ships after Carnival Ecstasy left the fleet in the fall of 2022. Carnival Paradise will keep offering fun-filled cruise vacations at 71,925 gross tons and a guest capacity of 2,124. The Carnival cruise ship is 133,500 gross tons with a guest capacity of 4,008 at double occupancy, slightly more than her sister ships Carnival Vista and Horizon.

Sailings range from two to nine days out of Port Canaveral, so you can get a taste of what a cruise is like without committing to a more traditional weeklong sailing. Expect an onboard brewery, incredible restaurants, and family-friendly fun. Carnival Sunrise  (formerly Carnival Triumph) features an exciting splash zone for kids and a piano bar where adults can sing along to their favorite songs all night. The ship sails on two to five-night and six to nine-night cruises from Miami, Florida, to the Bahamas. During my recent sailing, I found all the Carnival classics, like the Alchemy Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint, a thrilling ropes course, dive-in movies, and plenty of themed deck parties. Rent cabanas or lounge in the ocean-view whirlpools at Loft 19, where attentive staff take care of everything, like delivering you fruit and chilled towels.

Fun pursuits on the daily schedule might include arts and crafts, themed parties, science experiments, games and story time, depending on the age group. Check out meetups for solo travelers, singles, veterans and members of the LGBTQ+ community listed in the daily program. Carnival Jubilee offers a full roundup of daily activities on each voyage.

As costumed Dr. Seuss characters arrived, Carnival staff asked the children to scream solely for the sake of screaming. Ear-piercing shrieks reverberated throughout the space, which was also blocked off to passengers trying to pass through. My cabin had some of the best soundproofing I've experienced on a new ship in a long time — I had balcony accommodations near an elevator bank and heard nothing when I was in my room. However, a couple of passengers told me they could hear noise from Bolt in their balcony cabin on Deck 15.

The world you'll find yourself in is one of complete peace, sea breezes and, of course, a nearby bar. It's the place to get done the kind of stuff you just can't seem to do anywhere else — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all. Ok, a few places — get ready for six distinct onboard zones featuring brand-new experiences for spectacularly getting down to food, drink and fun. Members earn one point for every night they sail on one of the line's ships. All vessels operate on a "cashless system," with any onboard purchases you make posting automatically to your onboard account.

Carnival Cruise Line sells itself as the "fun" cruise line, and it attracts cruisers who are looking to have a good time with little to no pretensions. Carnival cruisers, who range from young to old, tend to be quite friendly, looking to strike up conversations with other people in the buffet, by the pool and, really, anywhere. The suggested attire for women on such nights is cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses. Passengers who wish to avoid dressing up can enjoy dinner in any of the casual eateries aboard. Carnival Jubilee has self-service pressing rooms on decks 4, 5, 9, 14 and 15 with ironing boards and irons that are free to use.

You’ll also find a swingin’ jazz trio keeping things nice and hot … and it takes only one look at the décor to feel as if you just stepped into an elegant Southern estate. So come on down and let a white-coated bartender know what your pleasure is. Among the menu of Crescent City mainstays, we suggeststarting off with a true connoisseur’s local favorite … the Brandy Crusta.

Ambulatory-accessible rooms provide accommodations for people who walk with the help of assistive devices like canes or walkers. One afternoon later in the sailing, two different crew members approached me a total of six times in less than half an hour while I was having lunch on the Lido deck. The first five times, I simply said, "No, thanks." After the sixth time, I had enough and told them nicely but firmly to stop asking me.

— the ship's hybrid Mexican-Asian restaurant — one night while I was having dinner there. Whenever somebody bought one, the waiter would demand that they yell "Shot, shot, shot!" before downing it. This was extremely disruptive and added to the already loud atmosphere.

Rudi’s Seagrill™ is the brainchild of cookbook author and master chef Rudi Sodamin. He has years of experience pleasing palates of vacationers… and this guy loves serving up a smile as much as Carnival does! But he’s serious about seafood, and an evening at Rudi’s proves it through the courses. Enjoy selections like seafood bisque and crab-stuffed lobster tail imperial — all served with an elegant flair that pays proper tribute to the beauty of the ocean from which so much fun, and flavor, arises.

Many variables — price, embarkation dates, travel companions, ship size and amenities, and destination — can shape the way you make your choice. For free eats, Carnival’s Lido Marketplace buffet on Deck 16 and its two main dining rooms – Festivale on Deck 6 and 7 aft, and Carnivale on Deck 6 midship – offer all the classic foods cruisers have come to expect. While the buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, dining rooms tend to be dinner-only affairs, save for sea days when Carnival’s popular Sea Day Brunch (reservations required) is offered.
